Jalapeno Bread

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 tablespoon Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
* 1 package active dry yeast
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1 cup unbleached flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup bread flour
* 7/8 cup water
* 2 tablespoons or less jalapeno peppers, chopped

PREPARATION:
Put all ingredients, in the order given, into the bread pan, select white or basic, light or medium crust.
Use fewer jalapenos or mild chile peppers for a milder bread. Makes a 1-pound loaf.
